Hexagones - Hexagons
Et pour terminer (je n'avais plus mis d'articles depuis un certain temps et là, je me rattrape !) et en même temps, bien commencer mes congés, j'ai commencé un sac en hexagones (ma forme favorite en patchwork) qui je zieutais depuis longtemps ...
And to end and at the same time, to begin my vacation in a good way, I started to sew a bag with hexagons (they are my best choice in patchwork) that I was looking at for a long time ...
Demain, jour de fête nationale en Belgique, nous avons prévu une promenade donc pas de couture ou de broderie.
For tomorrow, Independance Day in Belgium, we have programed an excursion so no sewing or stitching.

Il y a quelques jours, j'avais commencé cette grille de "The Workbasket". Je l'ai terminée hier après-midi.

J'espère que je vais avoir la chance qu'il fasse beau ... On annonce presque 30° pour demain mais de l'orage ... Moi, qui n'aime pas les grosses chaleurs ! Mais bon, je ne vais pas faire la fine bouche !
I hope the weather will be good ... They say at the radio that we will have 30° C for tomorrow but with storm ... For me who doesn't like hot weather ! Okay, I won't be too moaner !
Ce week-end, c'était "Noël en Juillet" dans ma boutique. J'avais mis les bouchées doubles pour terminer les 3 nouveaux ouvrages de Noël que je voulais proposer (et qui seront fait en atelier cet automne). Contrairement à ce que certaines pensent, mon amour du patchwork ne faiblit pas et j'ai créé ces modèles avec enthousiame !
I had my week-end "Christmas in July" in my little shop. I spent many time to finish these 3 new projects (we will make them this autumn with my students). Contrary to some persons who think I don't like patchwork anymore, I have created these patterns with enthusiasm !

Tournesol - Sunflower
L'autre jour, Dany nous montrait sur son blog une nouvelle petite grille de sa création et elle me l'a gentiment envoyée car je lui avais dit que j'adorais les tournesols ...
Some time ago Dany showed us a new little chart and she kindly sent it to me because I said her that I loved sunflowers ...
Comme il fait très chaud, j'ai mis plusieurs jours à la terminer ... Je pense la monter sur une trousse. Pour changer, j'ai brodé sur de l'Aïda 7 pts avec un fil Olde Willow Stitchery "Rustic Red".
As the weather is so hot this week, I needed some days to finish it ... I think I will sew it on a pouch. As I wanted to change, I used an Aïda fabric 7pts with an Olde Willow Stitchery thread named "Rustic Red".

Comme base pour le cours d'appliqué inversé, un quilt intitulé "Sous l'eau" ...
As a base for the reversed appliqué lesson, a quilt named "Under the sea" ...
Comme d'hab, la photo est floue et les couleurs ne sont pas bien représentées ... Je dois faire des progrès en tant que photographe !
As usually, the snap is not good and the colors are not very beautiful ... I must improve my talents in photography !
J'ai aussi terminé une petite trousse, qui est tellement mini que c'est plutôt un porte-monnaie ...
I also finished a little pouch, which is so little that it might be a purse ...
Je n'avais plus de connexion (encore !) depuis vendredi dernier : le modem avait grillé avec l'orage ! et aujourd'hui, c'est encore très dur de mettre un article, mais j'y suis arrivée !
I had no connexion since last Friday (again !) : the modem has been burned with the storm ! and today it's again very hard to post something, but I won !
