Encore des petites xxx - More little xxx
En ce dimanche encore ensoleillé, après une marche Adeps assez costaud !, mes deux derniers petits ouvrages ...

Tout d'abord, un marque-page pour Amandine qui aime lire aussi ! C'est un free d'Elisa, brodé sur Aïda 7 pts écru avec le fil Secret de ... Capucine "Fidji"
First of all, a bookmark for Amandine who also likes to read ! It's a free from Elisa, stitched on 7 pts écru Aïda with a Secret of ... Capucine called "Fidji"
Ensuite une broderie commencée en hiver et terminée ce matin : encore un free ! De chez Sof' brodé sur Vintage Cashel Cream avec le DMC 779. Je vais le terminer en coussin. Ce matin, en le regardant, je me disais que j'allais lui faire un petit frère ... Je vais aller voir sur le blog : il y en a tellement qui m'attirent dans ces Teddies !
Next, a stitchery I began last winter and finished this morning : a free again ! From Sof', stitched on Vintage Cashel Cream with 779 DMC thread. I will sew a cushion with it. When looking at it this morning, I thought I would stitch a little brother to it ... I will search on the blog to find the one I love but it's very difficult : they are all so cute, these Teddies !
Voilà, c'est tout pour aujourd'hui !

Peut-être allons-nous aller faire un petit tour et souper en route ... Il faut profiter du soleil tant qu'on en a !
Maybe we will go for another excursion and have dinner on the way ... We have to profit of the sun while it shines !

Travaux (hem !) de vacances - Vacation works (hem !)
Comme promis, je vous montre également les broderies que j'ai fait ou terminé pendant mes congés ...
As I promised to you, I will show the stitcheries that I have done or finished when on vacation ...
De gauche à droite : un "ABC du printemps" trouvé sur le blog de Vavi et brodé avec le fil New Dehli de Secret de ... Capucine, "Accept this trifle ..." vu sur le blog de mon copain américain Edgar brodé avec des fils Threadworx, Olde Willow et Weeks Dye Works (c'est un free de Plum Street Samplers). Le dernier est un ouvrage commencé l'année dernière (au moins !) pour terminer une boîte en cartonnage : c'est une grille de Marjorie Massey brodée avec des fils DMC.
From left to right : a "Spring ABC" from Vavi stitched with the New Dehli thread from "Secret de ... Capucine", "Accept this trifle ..." that I saw on my american friend Edgar's blog stitched with Threadworx, Olde Willow and WDW threads (it's a free from Plum Street Samplers). The last one is a stitchery that I began last year (at least !) to decorate a box : it's a chart from Marjorie Massey stitched with DMC threads.
Et pour terminer, un autre petit free de La-D-Da que j'ai vu sur plusieurs blogs et qui m'avait tapé dans l'oeil !

Hibou - Owl
Il y a quelques jours, j'avais commencé cette grille de "The Workbasket". Je l'ai terminée hier après-midi.

Tournesol - Sunflower
L'autre jour, Dany nous montrait sur son blog une nouvelle petite grille de sa création et elle me l'a gentiment envoyée car je lui avais dit que j'adorais les tournesols ...
Some time ago Dany showed us a new little chart and she kindly sent it to me because I said her that I loved sunflowers ...
Comme il fait très chaud, j'ai mis plusieurs jours à la terminer ... Je pense la monter sur une trousse. Pour changer, j'ai brodé sur de l'Aïda 7 pts avec un fil Olde Willow Stitchery "Rustic Red".
As the weather is so hot this week, I needed some days to finish it ... I think I will sew it on a pouch. As I wanted to change, I used an Aïda fabric 7pts with an Olde Willow Stitchery thread named "Rustic Red".

Pinkeep
Il y a quelques semaines, au fil de mes visites de blogs, j'ai découvert le site "Cosmic Handmade" où sont proposées différentes grilles gratuites.
J'ai choisi la grille "Bird Quartet" que j'ai finitionnée en pinkeep.
A few weeks ago, when visiting some blogs, I found the site "Cosmic Handmade" where they propose some free charts. I choosed "Bird Quartet" and finished it as a pinkeep.
Et voilà !

SAL Anges et Tralala
Hier soir, j'ai terminé la 8ème partie du SAL Anges (un record, la grille ayant été mise en ligne le 15 ...)
Last night, I finished the 8th part of the "A story of angels" (a performance for me, the chart was on the web on the 15th ...)
Il me reste à pénéloper les petits trucs au pied du 1er ange, je me suis trompée de couleur !
I just have to correct the little things near the 1st angel, I stitched with the wrong color !
Là-dessus, j'ai commencé "Dame Gâteaux" de Tralala : j'ai reçu la grille de ma gentille Carmela. J'avais préparé ma toile et mes fils dans la journée en prévision ... J'ai juste changé les fils Atalie car je n'avais pas les couleurs préconisées : je vais utiliser Pivoine au lieu de Centaurée et Rose au lieu de Amandier, mais je pense que le résultat sera aussi joli ! J'ai déjà dû pénéloper ... Une petite erreur dans la frise !
Then I began "Dame Gâteaux" from Tralala : I received the chart from my sweet friend Carmela. I had prepared the fabric and threads earlier in the day ... I just changed the Atalie threads because of a lack of some of them : I will stitch with Pivoine instead of Centaurée and Rose instead of Amandier, but I think the result will be great ! I also have had to begin again ... A small error in the swag !
J'attends la soirée avec impatience pour m'y remettre !
I am longing for the evening to stitch again on this work !

SAL Fil en Poussière
Le mois dernier, j'ai oublié de vous montrer mon petit pot à fils ...

Cette fois, je n'oublie pas ! C'était la pleine lune hier et donc le voici, le voilà ...

Comme vous le voyez sur la photo, il fait plein soleil ce matin malgré des températures un peu frisquettes pour le mois de juin.
As you can see on the picture, it's sunny this morning but it's rather cold for June.

SALS
Tout d'abord, le SAL "Histoires d'anges" chez Muriel : je suis à jour ! La prochaine étape est prévue le 15 avril ...
First of all, the "A Story of Angels" SAL from Muriel : I succeed to end this part in time ! Next part on April 15th ...
Les deux premières étapes (le texte) étaient très longues, mais celle-ci ne m'a demandé que 3 soirées pour terminer ce 1er angelot ...
The 2 first parts (text) were very long, but this one took only 3 evenings to stitch this first cherub ...
La semaine dernière, j'avais également avancé un peu dans le SAL Beatrix Potter (là, il n'y a pas d'échéance : on brode comme on veut, du moment qu'on met de temps en temps une photo sur le blog ...)
Last week, I stitched on my Beatrix Potter SAL (for this one, we don't have parts to respect : we stitch as we want and we post some snaps on the blog ...)
Par peur de m'ennuyer avec toujours la même couleur, j'ai décidé de faire certains motifs avec d'autres couleurs : j'ai choisi 2 tons proches du premier (càd 3771 et 3778, le principal étant 3772). J'aime beaucoup cet ouvrage !
To get not so bored with always the color, I decided to stitch some parts of the chart with other colors : I choosed 2 shades close to the first (as 3771 and 3778, the principal is 3772). I love this work !
J'ai pénélopé un peu ce matin dans le dernier motif pour pouvoir m'y remettre ce soir ...
I have done some "penelopeing" this morning to have the possibility to stitch this evening ...
Et pour terminer, aujourd'hui, c'est jour de pleine lune, donc je vous montre mon petit pot de fils ...

Beatrix Potter Quaker SAL 2
J'ai aussi fait mon choix pour ce nouveau SAL : toile Cashel 28 ct Pêche et fil DMC 3772 (un marron clair très doux); je vais broder en 1 fil sur 1. J'ai choisi cette solution car je n'ai pas de toile assez grande pour le broder en 1 sur 2 (et je n'ai pas envie d'en acheter pour cause de tiroirs trop remplis ...).
I also made my choice for this new SAL : Peach Cashel 28 ct fabric and DMC 3773 thread(a soft light maroon); I will stitch in 1 on 1. I have choosen this because I have no fabric big enough to stitch in 1 on 2 (and I don't want to buy a new one because of too full drawers ...).
J'ai également terminé un autre pinkeep mais je vous le montrerai plus tard : c'est un cadeau !
I also finished another pinkeep but I will show it later because it's for a gift !
Voilà, c'est tout pour aujourd'hui ! Je vais aller préparer le souper et je vous souhaite une douce soirée remplie de petites croix !
