Je vis toujours et je vais bien mais je ne suis pas très motivée par l'ordi de ces temps-ci.

I am always in life and in good health but no so motivated by the PC for the moment.

Malgré le bobo à la main qui n'est toujours pas tout-à-fait guéri et qui m'empêche de broder, je ne reste pas inactive :

j'ai presque fini de tricoter un gilet, je fais du patch, des petits bidules, ... En photo, c'est beaucoup mieux !

My hand is still hurted and I cannot stitch but I'm not inactive : I'm knitting a vest, I do patchwork, ... Here are some pictures :

Depuis 15 jours, je ne brode plus suite à un petit accident lors du montage de mon stand : un gros hématome à la base du pouce gauche m'empêche de tenir le cercle à broder, donc j'ai repris le tricot et voici le résultat :

Since 15 days, I don't stitch anymore because of a little accident when building my stand : I bruise my left thumb and it's impossible for me to take my stitching circle in hand. So I took back my knitting needles and here is the result :

J'ai aussi commencé un nouveau quilt, issu d'un livre de Kim Diehl. J'adore ses modèles country !

I also began a new quilt, from a book of Kim Diehl. I am fond of her country patterns !

Cela s'appelle "Winterberries" et je suis assez contente du résultat pour l'instant. Il reste 3 rangs à faire et les bordures, ce qui fera un ouvrage d'environ 1,50 M de côté.

It's called "Winterberries" and I am glad with the result for the moment. I must sew 3 more rows and the borders, and that will do a work measuring almost 1,50 M x 1,50 M.

Et enfin, suite à la visite d'une amie samedi qui m'a donné cette idée, je viens de terminer un coussin biscornu :

Ce matin, Christine (Titepluche) est venue nous amener un nouveau petit chat, Meiko : vous l'avez peut-être vu sur son blog ...

This morning, Christine brought us a new little cat, Meiko : perhaps you saw it on her blog ...

Elle est toute douce mais pas encore habituée aux chats de la maison, donc elle se trouve des petits endroits où dormir tranquille !

She is so sweet but not used with the others cats in the house, so she is hiding in some places where to be quiet !

Quelques petites choses à vous montrer en ce lundi ensoleillé ...

Some little things to show you in this sunny Monday ...

Tout d'abord, mon SAL "Histoires d'Anges" : je suis arrivée à la moitié et le trouve très beau !

First, my SAL "A story of Angels" : I have stitched the half and I am very proud of it !

Ensuite, un petit sac que je viens de créer pour le salon de ce week-end à Seneffe

Next, a small bag created for the exhibition this week-end in Seneffe

J'ai pris comme base un sac en pliage japonais et le décor (les cercles brodés) m'a été inspiré par un sac que j'avais vu sur un blog (je ne sais plus lequel, pardon ...). Le patron sera en vente après le salon. Son nom est : Doris.

As a base for this bag, I used a pattern of japanese folding bag and I saw the ornaments (stitched circles) on a blog (I don't remember which one, sorry ...). The pattern will be on sale after the exhibition. Its name is : Doris.

En ce dimanche encore ensoleillé, après une marche Adeps assez costaud !, mes deux derniers petits ouvrages ...

On this sunny Sunday, after a hard walk, my 2 last works ...

Tout d'abord, un marque-page pour Amandine qui aime lire aussi ! C'est un free d'Elisa, brodé sur Aïda 7 pts écru avec le fil Secret de ... Capucine "Fidji"

First of all, a bookmark for Amandine who also likes to read ! It's a free from Elisa, stitched on 7 pts écru Aïda with a Secret of ... Capucine called "Fidji"

Ensuite une broderie commencée en hiver et terminée ce matin : encore un free ! De chez Sof' brodé sur Vintage Cashel Cream avec le DMC 779. Je vais le terminer en coussin. Ce matin, en le regardant, je me disais que j'allais lui faire un petit frère ... Je vais aller voir sur le blog : il y en a tellement qui m'attirent dans ces Teddies !

Next, a stitchery I began last winter and finished this morning : a free again ! From Sof', stitched on Vintage Cashel Cream with 779 DMC thread. I will sew a cushion with it. When looking at it this morning, I thought I would stitch a little brother to it ... I will search on the blog to find the one I love but it's very difficult : they are all so cute, these Teddies !

Voilà, c'est tout pour aujourd'hui !

So that's all for today !

Peut-être allons-nous aller faire un petit tour et souper en route ... Il faut profiter du soleil tant qu'on en a !

Maybe we will go for another excursion and have dinner on the way ... We have to profit of the sun while it shines !

Comme promis, je vous montre également les broderies que j'ai fait ou terminé pendant mes congés ...

As I promised to you, I will show the stitcheries that I have done or finished when on vacation ...

De gauche à droite : un "ABC du printemps" trouvé sur le blog de Vavi et brodé avec le fil New Dehli de Secret de ... Capucine, "Accept this trifle ..." vu sur le blog de mon copain américain Edgar brodé avec des fils Threadworx, Olde Willow et Weeks Dye Works (c'est un free de Plum Street Samplers). Le dernier est un ouvrage commencé l'année dernière (au moins !) pour terminer une boîte en cartonnage : c'est une grille de Marjorie Massey brodée avec des fils DMC.

From left to right : a "Spring ABC" from Vavi stitched with the New Dehli thread from "Secret de ... Capucine", "Accept this trifle ..." that I saw on my american friend Edgar's blog stitched with Threadworx, Olde Willow and WDW threads (it's a free from Plum Street Samplers). The last one is a stitchery that I began last year (at least !) to decorate a box : it's a chart from Marjorie Massey stitched with DMC threads.

Et pour terminer, un autre petit free de La-D-Da que j'ai vu sur plusieurs blogs et qui m'avait tapé dans l'oeil !

J'ai terminé tout à l'heure le panneau "Autumn" que nous allons réaliser en atelier à partir de la semaine prochaine.

This afternoon I finished the "Autumn" panel that we will realize at patchwork lessons from next week.

Dans le même esprit que celui du printemps, j'ai choisi une fleur, un animal, un outil ... représentant la saison.

In the same flair that the Spring one, I choosed a flower, an animal, a tool ... that are representative of the season.

Restent à faire l'été et l'hiver : ce sera pour l'année prochaine ...

Summer and Winter are to be done but it will be for next year ...

J'avais aussi oublié de vous montrer un petit plumier réalisé d'après un modèle japonais, ainsi que le cadeau que j'ai envoyé à Carmela pour son anniversaire.

I added a piece of fabric, a sweet box in Brussels lace (it is packed !) and "cuberdons" (a Belgian specialty that she had never tasted ...)

Eh oui ! Tout a une fin ! Je reprends le collier aujourd'hui ...

Oh yeah ! Everything has an end ! I am at work today ...

Je vous avais parlé précédemment d'ouvrir une boutique en ligne. Hélas, je n'ai pas réussi : mes compétences en informatique et ma patience à l'ordi ont des limites et j'ai abandonné.

Malgré tout, pour celles qui sont intéressées, je viens de mettre en ligne des photos des nouvelles collections disponibles en boutique (voir colonne de droite : ma boutique). Vous pourrez vous les procurer en me contactant par mail en indiquant les références qui vous intéressent. Vous promenez la souris sur les échantillons afin de voir la référence et vous m'indiquez la quantité voulue : je vous communiquerai mes données bancaires, ainsi que le coût total.

I talked to you in an older post that I would try to open an online shop. Unfortunately I did not : my skills at computer science and my patience at the PC have limits !!!

But for those that are interested in, I show some pictures of the new collections that are available in my shop (see at right : ma boutique). You can buy them : you send me an e-mail in which you indicate the references of the fabric you choose. When you run the mouse on the image, you will see the reference of the fabric you want to buy, then you tell me the quantity you want. I will communicate my bank datas and the total amount.

Et pour terminer (je n'avais plus mis d'articles depuis un certain temps et là, je me rattrape !) et en même temps, bien commencer mes congés, j'ai commencé un sac en hexagones (ma forme favorite en patchwork) qui je zieutais depuis longtemps ...

And to end and at the same time, to begin my vacation in a good way, I started to sew a bag with hexagons (they are my best choice in patchwork) that I was looking at for a long time ...

Demain, jour de fête nationale en Belgique, nous avons prévu une promenade donc pas de couture ou de broderie.

For tomorrow, Independance Day in Belgium, we have programed an excursion so no sewing or stitching.
